To enable Washington Mind to continue to provide a wide range of quality mental health services we require a team of paid staff and volunteers with a diverse range of talents, skills and experiences. Support, supervision and training is provided, we offer volunteering opportunities for:
- Mental health support workers
- Trainee and qualified counsellors
- Psychotherapists
- Independent advocates
- Complimentary/alternative therapists
- Life coaches
- Therapeutic group facilitators
- Trustees - The trustees of the Executive Committee also work in a voluntary capacity. The Committee's main purpose is to run the charity and ensure it is meeting its aims and objectives. We recruit volunteers with key skills and experience in areas such as mental health service users and workers, the voluntary sector, management, finance and human resources.
