Relocation
In April 2007 we finally relocated to Washington Village; our very own independent venue where we are able to offer services in a safe, relaxing caring environment that is conducive to therapy. The move was very much a fresh start for the service - with new staff, new systems in a new building, we used this opportunity to build on the foundations laid before us and develop a modern, user focused, new service.
The photographs show the transformation from a derelict building that had stood empty for a number of years to the new base.
While the premises are undoubtedly on the small side, the range of services provided is growing all of the time including offering services in other venues and outside of office hours for those people who can't attend, enabling those in employment and training to get the support they need without taking time off.
